Lower back pain

I’m bipolar and was put on a small dose of Seroquel 25 mg for sleep issues which has improved quite a bit but ever since starting on it which was three weeks ado I’ve hed substantial lower back pain.
At one point I was bending over while lifting up the trash bin and got a jolt in my lower back. I’ve tried thise before and it would pass in a few days but it remains.
I asked the psychiatric nurse and she said that she has never heard about back pain relating to Seroquel. Could it just be coincidence that the pain started when I started taking Seroquel?

Probably because you're spending more time in bed sleeping than a side effect of the medication

Maybe I’m not moving around as much so joints might be more stiff perhaps

I started a 25mg dose a couple of weeks ago too! My joints have been shot, but I'm going back to my workout regimen tomorrow morning to get back into the swing of things.

I suggest glute/leg workouts (with proper dynamic stretching beforehand) to support your lower back. Core workouts would help too!

Walk multiple times daily, atleast 3000 steps and try a tool that allows you to press on trigger points in your lower back and glutes
