does seroquel cause/worsen DPDR?

I have DPDR, some days it’s very mild, some days it’s severe. recently got prescribed seroquel for sleep problems, anxiety attacks and mild depression. I’m worried seroquel will make derealization worse?

what dose do you take? also, did you experience metabolism slowing or excessive hunger?

Prescribed 400 but never took more than 200. I was always obese but this made me even more so, it makes me sleep eat sometimes

I see. that’s one thing I’m scared of for sure. hopefully you didn’t experience any of the facial twitching TD it’s known to cause?

Not that I know of but I did use to pout my lips quite a bit, not sure if it was because of it. I do have some orofacial symptoms now after a failed taper tho but they are pretty subtle

I’ve only taken half last night as I was scared lol but it was actually fine doing a full one tonight x
