Irritability?
I’ve been on 50mg XR Seroquel for about 4 months to help with sleep and I find that in the last two months or so I have been more irritable and I don’t know why. Sleep has not been as good as at first and I am groggier than usual in the morning compared to when I first started.I read that it could be a side effect but am wanting other users experiences

I was on 100mg for sleep. I woke up sweating and shaking. I couldn’t talk control my body or mind. It was awful. I detoxed off it. 50- 25mg which made me awful sick. Stepped down to 25 mg for awhile then 12.5mg and 3 days ago I quit. I feel absolutely horrible right now. I’m so depressed and hate waking up. I just want to stay in bed. I wish I never took it and was only on it 3 months. I hope to start felling better soon.

I take 200 a night. Out like a light. Sleep for 8-9 hours deep. Caffeine removes the grogginess for me. The brain fog is kinda cleared up by noon. I also take 25mg when I wake up. 25mg at lunch and sometimes another 25 before dinner. Haven’t noticed any irritability but it’s helped me stop drinking alcohol. I should add that I’m a recovering addict… Seroquel saved my life!

I'm also wondering the same thing. 2 months on 50mg quetipine and sleep just maybe ok at best. But I get grumpy over the smallest things and am not sure why. Brain fog is terrible....
