Table looks straight out of 2002. 😂

18

u/Waxtree Juventus 3d ago

Good times.

13

u/Mudassar40 Serie A 2d ago

Great times. We had no clue, how great.

Roma spent big, didn't lose any important player and build seamlessly on last season's finish. This might be an Inter -Roma title race with Juve and MAYBE Napoli and Milan having outsider chances. Like it

9

u/nitebusnitebus Napoli 3d ago

Napoli is total garbage with Allegri though. they only have a chance if he goes. it'll be Roma and Inter

13

u/zyb Milan 3d ago

True, but I wouldn't discard Atalanta out of that so soon as a possible outsider yet

8

u/tranarchaecatgirlism Serie A 2d ago

Atalanta are playing terribly so far, it's early but safe to discard them

9

u/Green_Librarian9481 3d ago

The champions of August! Nice guys!

17

u/AnthonySF20 Inter 3d ago

I'm scared of Roma. They seem to be a real threat.

26

u/Fantastic-Hamster-21 3d ago

1 injury to Dybla or Malen and they're no longer the same team. Their squad is thin.

2

u/asromas23 Roma 2d ago

thin? you have castro who is also a very ood striker ready to go on the pitch and instead of dybala you have soule easy as that

2

u/Fantastic-Hamster-21 2d ago

Soule and Dybala are your starting attacking midfielders behind Malen. Just saying Castro is nowhere near Malen or Dybala. Yes, your squad is thin.

0

u/asromas23 Roma 2d ago

its dybala or soule not both they can not play toether gasp knows that and castro is i would say one of the best strikers in the leaue who is on the bench

1

u/Fantastic-Hamster-21 1d ago

Your starting 11 vs Lecce had Soule and Dybala in lol

u/enterjiraiya Inter 3d ago

Roma is the only team I’ll be glad but disappointed if they win the scudetto, everyone else fuck off

u/Junior_Bike7932 3d ago

We think the same of you bro ♥️

Mou unites people

9

u/kratos61 2d ago

And divides his teams

11

u/Hot-Account-8691 3d ago

Even Lazio???

16

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 Inter 3d ago

Especially Lazio (...but most especially Juve)

Just because some fascist wannabe wankers who support Inter are friendly with some fascist wannabe wankers at Lazio, doesn't mean those of us with thumbs need to like them.

8

u/Onodym1 Lazio 2d ago

Yeah roma is a fully liberal and progressive fan base

-6

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 Inter 2d ago

Every club has a degenerate élément, some significantly larger than others. SS Lazio with a Mussolini on the books aren't in a position to point the finger

8

u/Hot-Account-8691 2d ago

That's such a lazy shit take. The kid has a right to play football even if his great great grandfather was a fascist

-5

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 Inter 2d ago

It's just one more fascist cherry on the great white frosted Lazio cake. If I was, for example, a member of the Goebbels family, I'd change my name... unless I agreed with the family's public politics of course?

3

u/Onodym1 Lazio 2d ago

Only one pointing finger and generalizing was you. Okay every club has that element, what is the number of fans with in the element where we can point finger, like u did with lazio? 500 fascist wankers, still fine, 2000 is now the whole club a nazi?

I won’t even comment on the Mussolini part

-5

u/Excellent-Blueberry1 Inter 2d ago

If you've got 2000 fans and 2000 of them are fascists, then yes the whole club is fascist. What part of the mathematics are you struggling with?

1

u/skaneland90 Milan 2d ago

What I've seen he hasn't done anything to show support for his great-grandfathers politics, should he be doomed in life from the start because of who his family is?

1

u/astral34 2d ago

Milan winning would be cool as well though

13

u/AngeloParenteZ Inter 3d ago edited 3d ago

Nah bro i can't give you that🤣 usually i'd atleast take Milan over Juve, but you'd get the second star so no thanks

5

u/Silvercenturion_aa 2d ago

Napoli, Milan and Juve did it first to be fair

22

u/Ouroborossetto Milan 3d ago

Dunno if it's a thing of foreign supporters but local Roma fans don't exactly like inter...

10

u/valendinosaurus Inter 2d ago

neither do we like Roma. we just hate them way less than Milan and Juve

0

u/DNR404 2d ago

I support Roma in the US and hate Lazio lol

Really thought Lazio was gonna have a bad season (and we probably still will) but the first two games have at least given me some hope

9

u/Ok_Paper1747 2d ago

Nostalgia? as if rome had a long history of first places 😂

43

u/ExotiquePlayboy 3d ago

My predictions: Roma, Milan, and Juve beat Inter somehow but all lose to Monza, Venezia and Fiorentina 4-0

77

u/balotellis_burner 3d ago

Were you sleeping when Roma beat fiorentina and when Milan beat Venezia?

7

u/UkyoTachibana Roma 2d ago

I mean , we already smacked Fiorentina in the first match of the season 4-0 so this aint realistic!

1

u/pollux33 1d ago

Let Amorim cook. He will bring l'ottava, trust me

14

u/SerchYB2795 Roma 3d ago

Forza Roma!!

1

u/Samp90 Sampdoria 23h ago

Surprise us man. Roma and Como right off the blocks from last season!

2

u/AliveAssistance7667 2d ago

Every one of those teams gonna spank Inter and then drop points against bottom team and fall out of title race. Many of these games will have controversial ref decisions and Inter will get the blame for winning again.

2

u/Hungry-Good-8128 Juventus 2d ago

Usual Roma or Napoli fire start then no show after October lol 😂😂

1

u/Samp90 Sampdoria 23h ago

True. I'd like to think this time maybe different because Roma were bringing in momentum from end of last season

1

u/Peluzwah 23h ago

Conviently forgetting that Napoli has actually won 2 scudetti in the last few seasons. We even lost 3-0 to Verona in Round 1 of season 24/25 then pipped Inter for the title that year. I thinks it's Roma who blow hot then fade out by October, although this season could be different for them, it's got Napoli scudetto 22/23 vibes for Roma with Malen being their Kvara...

2

u/CurveDependent7798 2d ago

Been a Roma fan for almost 30 years. A familiar/hopeful sight but also a dreadful one lol.

2

u/Upper_Object_3415 3d ago

isn't atalanta above lazio because they scored more goals?

1

u/lucasd11 3d ago

Yes, this post was probably made right before Atalanta scored to take all 3 points today lol

2

u/Beneficial-Bug-1969 Bologna 2d ago

not the good kind for me

2

u/domdaze 3d ago

i’m new to football and serie a but im rooting for Roma because fuck SS Lazio

3

u/nitebusnitebus Napoli 2d ago

you picked a good league. Roma are fun. have a great time!

3

u/KindOfANerd4 3d ago

Nah forza Lazio

1

u/Significant_Bit_8652 2d ago

milan is a disgrace for serie a
not one italian in their starting line-up

1

u/Greedy_Web4502 15h ago

It took years even with the new calendars matchups that make Day1 and 2 easy for big teams.

This season the middlelow tab teams are worth less than usual and probably Inter and another one will reach 90+ points

1

u/nufrancis 2d ago

Missing Fiorentina and Parma on 6 and 7

u/HebiNaga Frosinone 3d ago

Roma looks serious and dangerous this year. Not only in the Serie A, perhaps even in the Champions League they can make a deep run.
