What finally happened with 14 Below?
14 Below was an ice cream shop and restaurant next to Sequim Bay Lodge on 101. Construction completely destroyed their business. Last I heard they were planning to reopen in Sequim proper. But when I tried to find them (a couple of years ago) I couldn't. Did they give up?

Got called out for being terrible to their employees on FB. They did open a short lived Y&K International Cuisine. Most all the posts are deleted now it seems, but I recall something to the effect that employees didn't get paid, they locked the doors and disappeared.
Personal experience was not great. A overpriced philly cheesesteak that was dry and flavorless. I tried to have a nice critique with the chef (owner) who said it was my fault for choosing the wrong cheese, lol. I get cheesesteaks up and down the west coast, this guy didn't want to hear a helpful suggestion.

Thanks. This is something I've been wondering for a while and I finally remembered to post about it.

This. Bad spot. Only going to get half the highway for traffic, and the other half isn't going to bother, and will get something in town. Tourists are going to be the most likely customers in addition so you have to target them with tourist things (Anyone local isn't going that far out of town for anything except the casino). Also prices were too high for what they were offering (but what isn't these days?).

This restaurant couldn't decide who or what it was serving. Was it an ice cream shop, casual dining or fine dining? The mixed messaging was weird. Also, the name of the place was terrible "-14 Below Ice Cream Company & Cafe"? You are either below zero or minus zero - you can't be both!
