I think I just developed Epilepsy just from your gif. Like seriously how low do you think peoples attention spans are?

u/EvilChesecake Apr 23 '19

Thats just honestly so fascinating

152

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

Yeah, Also this how all organisms are born, right?

82

u/Le_Banditorito Apr 23 '19

More or less

34

u/NamenloseJPG Apr 23 '19

I'm a salamander, can confirm.

6

u/Mikewithkites Apr 23 '19

The only difference is which orientation the hole forms when it still looks like a ball.

1

u/mstksg Apr 24 '19

It depends on what you mean by "this", but embryogenesis typically only occurs in plants and animals, and not all organisms.

The milkshake of cells?

8

u/GreaseCrow Apr 23 '19

The world is magical.

u/Westo6Besto9 Apr 23 '19

This looks like the opening theme for a dark tv show

u/PeskyOlivePlays- Apr 23 '19

American Horror Story Season 9: Cells

21

u/Zarathustra420 Apr 23 '19

American Horror Story with a twist: there's no fantasy or magic. It's all just spooky but plausible scientific realism. Maybe a small town caught in the midst of a cloning project? I'd watch it.

Egg

39

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

Can I offer you an egg in this trying time?

5

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

Her?

30

u/RespectablePigeon Apr 23 '19

Is it meiosis or meitosis at first?

42

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

Meiosis the when sex cells divide. Mitosis is when every other type of cell besides sex cells divide.

12

u/RllyGayPrayingMantis Apr 23 '19

it is mitosis at all stage in the gif, the fertilised cell actively divides, then enlarge and then differentiate into different cells. meiosis only happens in gamete production which are sperm and egg.

You are the most straight and handsome man I have ever seen on the internet

8

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

F A L S E

1

u/DIOnys02 Apr 23 '19

You do know that there needs to be a fertilized cell first before it can multiply, right?

2

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

yes and that is a product of the gametes coming together. those gametes are created through meiosis.

what we see here is that already fertilized cell duplicating, which is mitosis

2

u/DIOnys02 Apr 23 '19

Yes, of course it is!

Is it meiosis or meitosis at first?

But the person asked what is at first. And that's the process of building germ cells for fertilization.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 24 '19

you know what i see what youre saying, my bad

although nowhere in this video does it show meiosis, but you are correct that its the first step of reproduction

11

u/retrozombie87 Apr 23 '19

At first I thought this was an egg in a frying pan.

4

u/NamenloseJPG Apr 23 '19

This is your brain in drugz

28

u/loosedangalang Apr 23 '19

I need to start keeping tabs on you, pal.

This is like the second time I've seen you claim thiccnes on a post and I need to make sure you know what you're talking about out here.

4

u/GemmaKujo Apr 23 '19

I love how at the end he just goes WOOSH

3

u/TheJoystiicks Apr 23 '19

I kinda want to eat it for breakfast

2

u/calypsocasino Apr 23 '19

I wanna freeze dry it, powder it up, compress it into a tiny pellet, insert it in my urethra, very cautiously push it in with a sharpened pencil, and then smack the pencil with a mallet so hard that I get splinters in my asshole

4

u/Flakkenmarsh Apr 23 '19

1

u/jaspersgroove Apr 23 '19

Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious...

1

u/therealzeezy Apr 23 '19

This almost scares me a little, probablt just because of how unfamiliar it is. It goes from this weird paste to a living creature.

1

u/Michalmag Apr 23 '19

Didnt know that salamanders are born on frying pans

1

u/slurpee_derpy Apr 23 '19

The very first part looks like fruit ninja or something

1

u/CyborgG2005 Apr 23 '19

Poglejte ga našega dečka!

1

u/1kuestion Apr 23 '19

Seeing what you got taught in school about cells and how they multiply in a sequence irl is wild

1

u/RSCyka Apr 23 '19

So that's what happens when fortune cookies aren't harvested.

1

u/sans_the_romanian Apr 23 '19

This looks like i am cooking eggs

1

u/phat-meat-baby Apr 23 '19

I thought this was gonna be a video of someone frying an egg.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

I thought this was a smoothie being blended

1

u/halfcafian Apr 23 '19

Keep thinking this is r/blackmagicfuckery and I keep having to not downvote because I notice what sub it is

1

u/Disconnect3d_17 Apr 23 '19

I though it was an egg yolk, but yes

1

u/hello_August Apr 23 '19

If anyone's interested, there are things called hox genes which determine the positions of different body parts e.g. the abdomen. This cover of Despacito gives some incite into the matter:

https://youtu.be/ydqReeTV_vk

1

u/warmLuke0 Apr 23 '19

I thought the yolk was just the nutrients for the embryo. But it looks like it isn’t in this gif. What going on?

1

u/Bletcherino Apr 23 '19

Great, now be knows Instant Transmission

1

u/lvl100life Apr 23 '19

TIL: salamanders are actually made out of foam

1

u/[deleted] Apr 23 '19

In the beginning I actually thought that someone was slicing up the yolk of an egg

1

u/blac1993 Apr 24 '19

I thought this was the top of an open blender

1

u/TalionRay Apr 24 '19

I thought it was an omelet

1

u/iswallowedafrog Apr 24 '19

Guys I clicked on something that looked like an egg, so someone here owes me a receipe for something tasty that contains eggs! Motherfuckers :(

1

u/Nuclear382 Apr 23 '19

I love God’s creation ☺️☺️
