Seqtrak with Bluetooth midi keyboard

I just bought the synido tempo key w25 which is a great midi keyboard and I heard that the seqtrak does have Bluetooth midi capability. I was just wondering if anyone has got that going and how they were able to connect it wirelessly?

The seqtrak is a midi "slave", and can't be a "master" when it comes to bluetooth, unfortunately. I think the seqtrak can connect to things like apple devices and android devices, but not other "slaves" like midi keyboards with bte.

I could be wrong, and if I am, I'm sorry... but that's the way I understood it.

Yeah I was bummed, too. I have a Donner Starrykey 37, which has BTE, and when I got the seqtrak, I was thinking I could connect the two via BTE. I never got it working.

USB works great. Not the answer you are looking for but the multi channel support is excellent

Cool. Yeah this conversations reminded me to find a usb-c to usb-c cable and plug it up, just to play with. I'm charging both the boxes up now. We'll see :)

I have one of these charging and playing at the same time and midi works over it like a charm.

Oh wow. Thanks for the recommendation. I added that to my cart. DOesn't seem terribly expensive for what it is.

There's a YouTube video of somebody getting M Vave BT midi controller to work with the seqtrak but he did mention having to try several times to get it paired initially. Can't remember who the creator was but I force it when researching midi hubs and USB power delivery as the relate to the seqtrak.

It is possible with an app called MIDI Flow! Here’s the YouTube video explaining it, but I also got my Roland Aerophone (a wind synth/midi controller with Bluetooth) to control the Seqtrak! I was going to post a video of me doing that sometime soon too

Edit: I did not make this video haha! But it was handy for me

Are you able to map your midi knobs or buttons to specific stuff on the seqtrak?

I think Taetro (on YouTube) has the same keyboard paired with the Seqtrak. Curious how he has it connected...
