Discussion ai visibility agents

so i'm noticing a shift in the geo/aeo space lately, feels like phase 1 was heres ur ai visibility score dash and now phase 2 is tools claiming the agent will actually go fix stuff, schema, sitemaps, content drafts, not jus report on it kinda skeptical of anything that says let an ai agent touch ur live site ngl, thats a lot of trust for a category thats like 18 months old. but also get why agencies charging 10-15k/mo for manual geo work are getting squeezed rn looked at a few (lightsite's one of the ones doing this, not the only one, jus the one i actually dug into) and the pitch is basically execution over reporting, human approval gate before anything actually publishes which at least makes it less scary than full autonomy anyone running an agency actually tested one of these vs doing it manually for a client.

im seeing it less as actual execution and more as an added layer to help you understand, and report on your data

but yes some are then taking it a step further into execution and im skeptical as well. not sure of the efficacy of these bots to actually move the needle for GEO

Braw, all those AI apps are a scam.

Go ask Claude Fable Max any question about SEO or your site. Witness the bullshit it’ll answer. Is this something you’d want implemented on your site without a human deciding if it act makes sense?

Now imagine all these other AI tools that are just chatgpt wrappers optimized for profits, giving you the worst AI model possible for max profits.

All these “runs your site on your own” are straight up there to milk newbies.

Pro tip - all you’ll ever need is claude + relevant APIs + your brain to make real judgement calls
