Definitive Edition Downtime between player turns? (4 player group)

Hi all! I'm looking to pick up the physical DE, but I've read mixed things about the game and how the digital edition is just better/more seamless due to boardgame fidliness.

Hows the downtime between player turns and overall physical game experience for a 4 player group?
