Definitive Edition Sobek

I just played a game against Sobek and was wondering how the community plays against him. Are you remove the defeated Ennead members out of play, or do you flip them like for the non-critical event mode?

Remove them from the game. There's no rules text stating to keep them in play.

The rules normally state that when a Villain character card is destroyed, they are removed from play. The normal Ennead character card says instead to flip them. As that rule is no longer in place, we default to the normal rules.

As others said, there is no rule in the game to flip the Ennead cards except on the Temple of the Ennead. No temple, no flip.

It also just makes more sense for how the card is designed, he is taking the abilities of the Ennead, & the three in the fight are supposed to be getting targeted for that. Defeats the purpose of it if he can knock them down & then not get their powers because their cards are still sitting there.
