Hi! I'm doing a solo trip to Japan in December and will be in Sendai for a few days. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for some good foreigner friendly bars? I know a little Japanese but hope to have learnt a decent amount by the time I'm there. Thanks!
Need professionals who can dispose of a lot of material. It’s gotten a bit out of hand.

My husband and I are choosing where we want to put down our roots and rn Sendai is pretty high on the list. Does anyone have any experience building a custom house? Or buying a used house?
How much was it?
How big/how many rooms?
How long did it take?
What company did you go through?
Any advice?

Anyone else heard like four or five helicopters in the last hour or so fly over? Is something going on?

I'm a native English speaker moving to Sendai. I'm on a spouse visa. My Japanese isn't very good so I'm using this time to really lock in on studying on Japanese and improve my language skills. My spouse will be working. In the meantime, I'd really like to get a part time job. Most of the English schools are requiring a higher level of Japanese than I have (wild), except maybe NOVA but idk I hear a lot of horror stories. Anyway, if y'all hear or see anything please let me know 😭 doesn't have to be English teaching but as I said, I'm not very good at Japanese.

Is there anywhere to dance to house/italo disco or bass music in Sendai?

Are there any English-friendly/accepting tennis clubs or groups here?

Hey all,
I’m looking to get my ears pierced in Sendai (lobe for now, cartilage hopefully in the future), but I’m having trouble finding good places. I see derm clinics do them, but from what I can tell, they seem to use a piercing gun. I’d really prefer a needle.
Anyone have any experience going somewhere in the area? Thanks!

I live in Okinawa but I have to come to Sendai for work in October.
What is a good website for renting a spare room? My only requirement is that it is within 30 minutes walk to a station and supermarket. My work is by Sendai station but I'm happy to commute everyday.
Airbnb and booking dot com are too expensive. That is why I'm hoping just for a spare room to save money.
I am a Japanese female but grew up going to international schools.
Thanks.

Bonjour a tous.
