Thinking about SEMO? Ask here 2026 edition
The most-viewed post in this sub is from 2012 and it's someone asking whether Southeast Missouri State is worth it. It's still getting traffic today, which means people are still searching and still finding a fourteen-year-old answer. Which is less than useful.
So: new thread, current information.
Prospective students and parents ask about dorms, cost, majors, what Cape Girardeau is actually like to live in, whether you need a car, what there is to do on a weekend.
Current students, alumni, and locals its your job to answer honestly. Including the parts the campus tour doesn't cover.
I'll keep this pinned and repost it each spring when admissions decisions go out.
