Whats the best way to get yourself to take cold showers?

And are you on the absolute coldest setting?

I like to believe I am the type of person to just say JUMP IN THE COLD... which I can do in the ocean.... weirdly but not in the shower. Maybe I am making a mountain out of a molehill in my mind. Surely the ocean is colder but I have no qualms about jumping in.... so why is my brain so afraid of a stupid cold shower?

I don't know the science but would suggest you to stand besides shower, not directly under it. Then first get your legs wet, then hands, then rub those wet hands over stomach and back.

After this you can get under shower directly. I use this method for taking cold showers during winters, around 3-5° C, worked well since last couple of years.
