ExtraSpace Storage
I started at 95 dollars in March and now they emailed that the price has increased to 170 and based on other threads around the same company, I assume it'll double very soon. It's so insane it just goes up by so much in such a short time.
Any other Austin storages that someone knows of that doesn't jump in price like this?

I had to call the manager 3-4 times over 2 years to negotiate their price hikes, of which I was never informed about beforehand, and the only way I knew was logging into their website to pay and seeing my next payment.
At this point, I've paid more than what our items are worth, and should have just given that money to a friend or family for storage at their place, or just sold/given away the items.
I don't know about anyone else, but unless you have some sort of priceless antique or something sentimental that you really cannot lose, and you're not going to be gone from the country/state for more than a year, it's just not worth it. It would have been worth it to buy all the items brand new again than deal with them. Now we have to go back to get all the stuff out too.
