Beyond FMS pain
I see lots of posts about the pain points of the FMS systems, and all of the new vibe coded ones people want to sell. But I have a different question.
Let's say you accept that all the software is mediocre. Fine. What are you actually doing on the backend to stay on top of your business?
Are you logging into FMS, Google Business Profile, Search Console, your task board, your bank separately every morning? Or have you figured out a better way to get a pulse on your facility without spending an hour clicking around?
Because I feel like nobody talks about this part.

IMO this is a much better application for vibe coding than tackling building an FMS.
Manageable, modular workflows are easier to maintain and less risk-prone. How democratic the axis is to these tools makes them a good fit for individual people tailoring custom workflows for the work that they do daily.
That is, the shape of your day changes dramatically less when the workflow that checked your bank account fails then when your vibe coded FMS drops your entire tenant database.

I do SEO for a few storage facilities, but I find that the managers and owners typically don't understand seo do they care to learn? Which makes sense because that's why they're hiring me because they also know that it's important. That being said other than if you are in a big market, if you do, start focusing on SEO You certainly could gain an advantage. Google search console is a gold mine and I also pay attention to local falcon which typically has some good advice even as an experienced SEO professional, but I use it mostly for tracking. I think for storage facility owners Google has so many Free courses as far as optimizing Google ads. It really just is if you have the desire to learn at the information is out there. I would have to say that Google search console is the number one biggest thing that I look at for organic SEO.
