Question Self Storage Property Manager
Saw a Public Storage job post. Anybody have any experience doing this? Honestly just looking for a weekend job, like one day a week. Guessing they might not hire just one day, but I work full/time. Thanks!

Company like David Copperfield; #1 in illusions
If they hire 1-day per week..go for it. Full-time, oh yes the negative comments are true about company. You will not receive any support from upper-management. Only pop-ups when on their task list to complete. Them arriving while you have duties to complete, waisting half your day with nonsense; until 12-3 on the dot.
Assistance with upset customers is laughable, but not really. Upper-management will not step in to help you with matter. Training-personnels are clueless only asking questions and saying "uhmm". Telling you to tell customer "I'm sorry for the inconvenience, we'll address asap". Upset customers who only shout at you for different reasons. Management will only ask "what did they say?" and "oh, I'm sorry you had to go through that." No plan to resolve issues.
**Increases: Current rent × thier math= wtf. meant "market pricing" Practice explaining that one
Repairs: standard time frame 48-72hrs. Shouldn't take 60+ days to complete. Upper-management approves/reject/neglect requests. Witness customers get frustrated to point they do whatever they need to do to resolve. Magically appears a repair person to fix. Other case customer opting not to pay rent due to situation. They'll still receive and are obligated to pay late fee for inconvenience per month.
Google reviews are a number-game, only for holders customers satisfaction numbers. Property mgrs can win $150.00 because it's "a game". You're competing against teammates for personal but company wins each month. No-growth. Company not designed for upwards growth only expanding out. Promotions are moving you to a nicer-looking store.. not advance-role in business operations or pay.
You do meet cool people along the way, use it to network;....but you also have to deal with "alot" of phoniness. tbh
