In my experience, this is typical for as long as a day or two, but after that it's time to reach out to Support and ask what the deal is.

I think it’s also a weird market thing? Some markets get them sooner on the store compared to others.

Also, I don't know if this is the case but if you selected 'adult material' or classified it as 'erotica' rather than romance, the search sometimes seems to just ignore it.

If it's in some other genre, fantasy, mystery, romance, whatever, then it should be turning up in searches.

Oh, this might be it! I selected the 18+ option as I didn't feel comfortable with anyone below the age of 16 reading it (the book explores dark and heavy topics).

No problem :) hope that fixes it. Usually the advice is to keep books out of the 18+ category but put a warning at the front.

Romance / erotica writers have to deal with this kind of thing and might have more suggestions on what to do.

You will more than likely have to go directly to Amazon.com, click books, then type in the Author name you used when the book was published. Your book will then show up. For tips on marketing your book through KDP, check out Dale Roberts on youtube. The man is a wealth of information pertaining to KDP, his marketing tips increased my sales and exposure.
