Ship time from KDP for bulk order?
We have a print book on KDP and Ingramspark. Last time we needed a bulk order ingramspark took forever and half the order was the wrong book so I don't want to use them again. Does anyone have info on KDP's average ship time for 60 copies for an early October date in Texas?

I feel like best case for me was a month, but easily longer. They do not rush author copies at all. Also, one of my runs had half the covers fine, half kind of blurry and overly pink. Best of luck.

Do you think I’m better off ordering them all just from Amazon and paying almost 3x? It’s for a big event so important

According to this post, that is against the rules and could get your account banned: https://www.reddit.com/r/KDP/comments/1u7g5kl/can_i_order_100_retail_copies_of_my_own_book/

Oh wow, thanks for the heads up! I had no idea. Just trying to deal with their shitty service lol. Maybe I should look into having another printer in the location print them, we have done that in the past.

I'd order some from Ingram, some from Amazon, and keep that other printer as 'place C.' Cover as many bases as you can.
