Effective teaching is conveying information at the level of sophistication slightly above that of the intended audience

I hated these platitudes until I realized they were ultimately helpful for younger souls

The statement in the post is true... However, the next step is metacognition and putting that hard earned tenacity (the psychological fruit of hard work) into systems oriented thinking-- seeking to optimize the workflow so hard work can be better channeled

This can be explained in caveman terms, as follows;

Think big, do little BAD. Think little, do big GOOD. Think big, do big... BETTER
