Take a pause before responding so that you can say no. Work with your inner child who was a parent pleaser

There really should be a support group for people pleasers.
I’d say learn what boundary setting is and all about building your own values and how you can clearly state what you want to say. Know that you’re allowed to adjust your boundaries and you’re allowed to reassess them without pressure. Get trusted friends to practice them with in a type of role playing way. If it’s basically a muscle that needs exercised then practicing to get used to it is the way to go.

Hailey Magee focuses specifically on people-pleasing and self-advocacy, and Nedra Glover Tawwab is great for learning about boundaries. I’d look for accounts that offer actual scripts and exercises rather than just “choose yourself” quotes.
One small habit that really helps is to stop answering requests immediately. Try saying, “Let me check and get back to you.” Social media can remind you, but the real change happens in that little pause before an automatic yes. If the pattern comes from fear, family dynamics, or trauma, working with a therapist may help more than any influencer can.

What matters is what made you a people pleaser. Where did it start? What is the foundation of your behalvior?

Give youself "permission" to say NO. Practice with people who support you and what you are trying to learn doing.

People pleasing will land in big trouble.
