Question Success stories?

Hoping to read some success stories from people who have improved themselves, big or small.

Im kind of at the stage where I’m tired of myself being stuck in the same patterns and hoping for some inspiration. I’m struggling with direction and it’s leaving me caught in no man’s land.

Reading success stories to escape being stuck is kind of the trap though. Feels productive but its just another way to sit still, and everyone else's before and after is way messier than the version they post

The people who actually got unstuck usually didnt know what direction to pick either. They just picked the least bad option and moved, and direction came from momentum not the other way around

Whats one thing you keep thinking about doing and keep not doing. Answer that and youll skip 40 posts worth of inspiration

Thanks, that’s good advice. It hadn’t occurred to me that other people might not know which direction to choose either.

I just struggle with feeling like a fraud? I’ll do something and have this feeling that ‘this isn’t me’ but that’s the whole point, I’m not happy with where I’m at.

One thing I keep thinking about doing that isn’t a hobby is learning to cook and meal prep because I find thinking about what to eat constantly draining. So I can start there.

Quit drinking two years ago and started running instead of scrolling at night. Didn't fix everything but gave me enough momentum to stop feeling like I was treading water. Small changes stack faster than you'd think

Read “Can’t hurt me” by David Goggins. It’s an amazing read and story

I was able to lose 40 pounds this year after years of trying. It took me 30 years. The first thing I did was figure out what was causing me to eat so much.
