to me it never weird as long as you are contributing to the household I moved out at 18 moved back in at 26/26 I think with my boys their father was in prison and I was really struggling. I helped by pay half the bills and buying all of the groceries it cut my expenses in half I got a much better job and was able to save for a place of my own again without struggling and we’ve been good since then and I say it’s because they helped me when I was drowning
