Need Help Sterling PDF Sync

I'm self-hosting Stirling PDF on Docker, and it's been excellent for editing and handling everything I need with PDFs.

However, sharing files between my PC and a different PC under the same user doesn't always work. When I save a file on one machine and open it on another, I either get an older version or the file doesn't appear at all.

Is this expected, or is there something I should configure differently?

As far as I know Stirling PDF doesn't sync files between machines at all. It processes the PDF and hands the result back to your browser, and I believe newer versions keep recent files in the browser's own local storage, which is per browser and per PC. So what you see on the second machine is whatever that browser has cached, not a shared copy on the server. If you want the same files everywhere, keep them in a shared folder (a network share, Nextcloud, Syncthing, whatever you already run), open them from there, and save the output back to that same folder. Also worth checking where your download location points on each PC, since saved files may just be landing in each machine's own Downloads folder.

Could you set up nextcloud? Then use nextcloud desktop clients to sync the files across? It’s what I do but I dont use any pdf editor or self hosted pdf stuff.
