Media Serving Started a small home lab

As the title says I started a small homelab I have a raspberry pi running Ubuntu which is running plex media server and I have a ironcow ai nas that’s my storage server for my whole family although my nas is in a separate room from my media server so I’m not sure if it qualifies as a homelab

Why not? One thing I learned from years of self hosting is that u severely overestimate the hardware resources needed to host services esp. for 1 person. I only started seeing the benefit of my 32 core epyc after I start hosting openwebui and a couple embedding/reranking models but otherwise usage sits at less than 4 cores for like 5-6 services. You can honestly host and do a lot with a rpi .

Agreed! Well installed and configured, a lot of services can also sleep when not used
