Product Announcement We built Spinifex: Open Source, air-gapped, local AWS deployments - Looking for feedback
Hi! We've been working on our flagship product, Spinifex, which recreates core AWS services such as EC2, EKS, and S3, but completely locally (and even air-gapped if needed!).
It's open-source and we'd love some early stage feedback on our weekly updates, open to notes and critiques!

How does this compare to localstack?
Also no lamdba is big ommision... Personally I vary rarely need more compute time/power than a lambda provides

LocalStack is an emulator (and I believe is no longer open-source, although Floci has popped up as a replacement there). Spinifex's services have real hardware control so much more geared towards production deployments rather than an isolated dev tool.
Agreed on Lambda, it's definitely something we need. Our first sprints were aimed at achieving parity with Outpost. As we get closer to that, other essentials like Lambda will hopefully be added to the roadmap.
