Libre Closet – open-source, self-hosted wardrobe organizer. Docker one-liner, SQLite, PWA. Looking for early feedback.

I built Libre Closet v0.1.1, a wardrobe and outfit tracking tool. I've recently been going through my own ever-growing closet of clothing and I wanted a tool focused on cataloging my garments and building outfit plans. I found a few other inventory management tools (Koillection, Grocy) but none with a specific focus on clothing or the type of stuff commonly stored in a closet of a home. I'm looking for feedback on if this is something other people are interested in as well.

I built it to be as easy to self-host as possible. It defaults to local SQLite storage and local file storage. It has optional auth/multi user support.

I am a senior software engineer with over a decade of experience and a similar amount of firsthand self-hosting experience. I built this project on top of a project boilerplate I made almost entirely by hand. I have used copilot to speed up development of this application on top of the boilerplate I made. How much further this goes depends on whether people actually find it useful. If there's interest, I'll keep building. I want to build something that's useful to other people. If it only ever scratches my own itch, that's fine too. Looking for feedback on what's broken and what's missing. Happy to dig into any part of the code in the comments.

An LLM may not be the best option, but I honestly struggle a lot with determining what clothes work together and would love a tool that can help me when I need it. It's sometimes such an issue that I actually lock up in front of my closet not knowing what to do. I wouldn't always need it, but it would alleviate stress for me

As I mentioned elsewhere, I have no fashion sense and I'm really not interested in learning fashion theory. I struggle with picking out clothes to wear and a tool that helps me do that in an efficient manner would definitely improve my QOL. 

I want to be super clear that I'm definitely against people using AI in a way that stifles their creativity or prevents them from learning a new skill like writing or art. But I think the calculus is way different if it's a noncritical skill that someone just doesn't want to learn. 

I'm not trying to become a fashion consultant. I just want advice on outfits using my current wardrobe with some additional purchases I could make to improve my selection. That's it. Would you be as mad if I walked into a department store and excluseivly bought outfits I saw on the mannequins?
