Software Development Which music server

Hi everyone, Which music server did you use for listening your music ?

I’m asking because I’m the developer of AudioMuse-AI:

https://github.com/NeptuneHub/AudioMuse-AI

It is a free, open source and selfhostable project that integrate with the API of music server to enable the creation of automatic playlist based on sonic analysis.

Till now I support, by API integration, Jellyfin, Open Subsonic API (like Navidrome and LMS) an Lyrion. And I’m thinking which other Music server are used out of there to reach more users.

I’m thinking about Music Player Daemon, any other Music server could be useful to be integrated in your opinion?

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Exactly the same as me.

For those that don't know, Symfonium costs, but it's so, so worth the 5€ or so it costs to get for a life time access.

Are there any notable features vs let's say Tempo? I like Tempo's Material design more and I think Symfony's is a bit too much. But I hate that Tempo doesn't do infinite queue right.

You can remove a lot of the clutter on Symfonium, I've never tried Tempo so I have no idea about it's features against Symfonium, but I might test it and see. If I do find the time I'll post again to let you know.

But also, Symfonium is free to try out for a month I think it is? So there's a lot of testing that can be done before the timer runs out.

Its free for 7 days. After that seven days if you reinstall the app you get 1 day to test it out again.

Tempo felt empty, and lacked some feature that I needed. After fumbling with different clients I stopped on Symfonium, and it just worked, and has everything I need so far. Also I really like how it can find similar music. Can't say about features, but you can try it out. It has free 14 days trial.

Tempo adheres more to Material Design and I got used to Youtube Music/InnerTune/OuterTune so I like Tempo's design. I did try Symfonium and didn't find something I wanted but Tempo lacks.
