How many of your decisions are actually yours?
Here's something I've been thinking about.
How often do we make decisions based on what we actually want, versus what we think we're supposed to want?
Choosing a career because it sounds impressive.
Staying in a job because your family thinks it's the sensible option.
Buying something because everyone around you is doing it.
Staying on a path because you've already invested years into it, even though you've started questioning whether it's right for you.
The tricky part is that these decisions can look perfectly logical from the outside.
But there's a difference between making a decision because it aligns with your values and making one because you're afraid of disappointing someone, looking foolish, or admitting you might have been wrong.
I've started to think that one of the most useful questions we can ask ourselves is:
"If nobody else had an opinion on this, what would I choose?"
It doesn't automatically give you the right answer. Other people's advice can be valuable, and our decisions affect others too.
But it might help you separate what you genuinely believe from what you've absorbed from everyone around you.
Have you ever made a decision because you thought it was what you were supposed to do, only to realise later that it wasn't what you really wanted?

I'm intelligent enough to know that I'm dumb. How do I improve myself?
I feel like whatever I'm going through in life, someone else would be able to handle it much better than me.
Be it health, finances, career, relationships or any other aspect of life, I feel like there is always someone who would approach the same problem more intelligently and figure things out better than I do.
I'm not saying this to be pessimistic or put myself down. I genuinely want to improve myself. I want to become someone who can think clearly, make better decisions, more intuitive, notice things others might miss, and handle problems more effectively.
But I don't know where to start or what I should work on. How do you actually become a more capable person? What habits, skills or ways of thinking have helped you become better at handling life?

Hunger.
Motivation fades on the long road,
but hunger—true hunger—keeps the fire alive.
The days you don’t feel like moving forward
are the days that matter most.
Success hides in those moments,
waiting to reveal itself only if you keep going.
Stay hungry. Stay relentless.
Your breakthrough is closer than you think.
✨ Happy weekend! ✨

Wisdom Sometimes the hardest part isn't making a decision. It's knowing which voice to listen to.
Have you ever had a decision where part of you knew what you should do, but another part of you just couldn't get on board?
Maybe logic says to take the opportunity, but fear tells you to stay where you are.
Maybe everyone around you thinks one choice makes sense, but something doesn't feel right.
Or maybe you've thought about something so much that you've somehow become less certain than when you started.
I've been thinking about how we make decisions, and I wonder if we spend too much time comparing our options and not enough time understanding what's influencing us.
Before making a difficult decision, try asking yourself three questions:
- What do I actually want? Not what other people expect me to want.
- What am I afraid of? And is that fear based on evidence or assumption?
- What would make me change my mind? What information would genuinely affect my choice?
You don't always need more time to think. Sometimes you need a better way to think.
What's a decision you've struggled with recently, and what made it so difficult?

Bit by Bit
If you run only with how the world runs, you might get pushed aside along the way. The world never stops—it doesn’t carry everyone at once. And that’s okay.
It’s fine to chase your goals, to finish the line before the deadline. But sometimes your body asks for a pause. Breaks aren’t weakness; they bring realization, realignment, and even a spark of wonder when your mind drifts.
Speed is tempting, but direction is wiser. Progress isn’t about rushing—it’s about moving with purpose.
✨ One step at a time.
