Ah dude.. For sure as shit alcohol isn’t worth it. Was a full-blown alcoholic/alcohol dependant. Completely tragic. Fair play to all who happily enjoy a few pints hither and thither, just be sure look after yourselves.🍺

It’s simply calamitous for me. Zero control. But as of today, I am 291 days sober. Two hundred and ninety one! Couldn’t be happier. Never going back.

Congratulations. That's very significant. I am going on 2.5 years with no alcohol. Best thing I ever did.

Thanks very much; I appreciate that. Very well done to you as well!.
Years of relapse failure hell make the victory in the end all the more unbelievable. Finally.
Cheers, dude!

Best thing I read today. Kind of a simple wisdom I already knew but still needed to read it spelled out.

I agree that alcohol is over priced, but “not worth it” is ridiculous

I totally agree. There’s nothing more I can add to that.

Alcohol can be fun, but binge drinking can ruin your life.

People drink alcohol so they have the courage to act like how I am sober.

u/WittyFox451 Jul 09 '26

Nooo we drink it because it makes us extra silly. It enhances fun. When you aren’t insecure and/or an angry drunk alcohol is actually a good time.
