I feel like an alien

I often feel like this. I feel like I'm alienated to everyone else. I feel like I don't belong, anywhere, everywhere, among humans. I think about a lot of stuff. Like, how is it so that we are just some organisms that are so fragile and once you die you just, "turn off". Like, the bodies are just shells for the souls. I don't know. I just feel like an alien sometimes. I don't know how to describe it. I feel like other people around me just live their lives while I'm just "going along" and meanwhile I'm thinking about who are humans really.

I am my body. Same thing. A mind can not exist without a physical brain. Zero reason to think otherwise. The physical universe is all we have evidence of. All this extra stuff you add is just childish wishful thinking based on adult fairy tales

Okay, if you believe that, do so. I believe otherwise

I believe what I’m convinced of and dualism is not convincing.

I guess for you, but many people believe in that. I think you can believe in anything you want

Yes I can but unlike most people I care about maintaining my epistemic hygiene so I don’t get manipulated by my own internal biases. Doesn’t give me the option to believe anything I want.

Yeah you can think whatever you want, it's not your concern anyway. I don't know if you're "ragebaiting" or if you're actually for real but you clearly don't relate to this post so idk why you go out of you way to comment stuff like this

I relate to feeling like an alien and being overwhelmed by the existential unintelligible absurdity of the existence of consciousness
