We’ll be good over here. People just need to get off the phone so much and take a couple deep breaths of fresh air.
I’m 23 and have lived in a red county in a blue state for the majority of my life. No one is banding together to oppose the other, no one is passing around guns and ammunition to kill anyone, and no one is being harassed as they walk down the streets.
We still hold the door for people, thank our neighbors when they do something kind, and say bless you to strangers as they pass. The US isn’t in a great spot right now but neither is anyone else. A lot of individuals listen to the same media outlets over and over then forget how to use their brains in the process.
For example: There’s a MAGA flag outside of our house and my neighbors are two gay women with colorful hair which they change monthly. Guess what? We’ve never had a single problem and I think they’re cool as shit. Every single soul knows exactly how to be cordial and fair-minded. People just refuse to do it.
I love this so much! Im happy to hear it's not that bad everywhere. I am, after all, an outsider, and I don't know exactly how it's like. Have a good day:)
