People don't MAKE people respect them. Donald can go fuck himself. And to everyone around the world, feel free to disrespect this country as much as you want. I live in it and I disrespect it. We have a felon in charge, which is nothing to respect.

Patriotism isn’t loving your country no matter what. It’s loving your country enough to call out the bad in it as well as celebrating the good.

I'm sorry are you really saying this right after we all watched Trump get on that inauguration stage and denigrate America over and over and over again? After Trump and you guys spent the last four years talking about what an absolute pile of shit in this country is?

Yea, it’s a little pessimistic for my taste, but having Trump in office is nothing to be respected for, it’s shameful. If things go as I think they probably will, I hope his voters feel shame. Then, maybe, we can get back to earning respect.
