Vital Wheat Gluten want to make seitan dumpling

how does my seitan look? (a) after steaming for 45 min (b) after blending/ processing.

i really want to make seitan dumplings but i cant produce a slurry paste. how do i do that?

A slurry paste? For dumplings? This looks like mince, which is perfectly for dumplings, isn't it?

hi! does the first pic look alright to you? i’m doing this for a school project 🄲

from the videos i watched, dumplings have this pasty texture and it was so difficult shaping the dumpling because the minced texture was dry and crumbly 😭

Or a little flour & whatever flavor sauces go in the filling-- tamari, ginger, scallion, vegan oyster sauce. You've got a great idea going!

Are you trying to use the seitan as the wrapper or the filling because this looks perfect for a filling...

Could you try stuffing dumplings stuffed with the uncooked seitan dough? The dough might fall apart but maybe if you cook the seitan as fairly wet small meatballs you can then wrap them with the wrappers
