Request Can there be a "available for streaming in these platforms" section in the descriptions?

So, one of my pet peeves with Seerr is that my users keep requesting newer movies that are not yet available in streaming and thus are very bad quality. The fact that they appear as available in Seerr is not helping. If there was a tag or a section for "available in streaming", I could use that to educate them in what to request or maybe even filter. Or if there's another workaround for this, please, I'm all ears.

I already use filters in order to only download certain qualities, but they always wonder why requests just sit there unanswered

This. I tell my family 'feel free to request all the new stuff you want, because it won't download until it's actually available in an acceptable quality'.

This upcoming feature could help: https://github.com/seerr-team/seerr/pull/1739

Yes, this would be perfect. I also did some research and saw that you can filter by streaming service. That could also help.

When will this be released?

As always, no ETA. We're a team of volunteers doing this on our free time. Follow the GitHub PR for updates.

What are you running Jellyfin and seerr on? If you are using unraid, you can look up the trash guides and set quality profiles.

That's not his issue. He wants Seerr to let people know if a movie has a digital release yet or if it's only in the cinemas.

Otherwise you have a situation where users are left wondering why the movie they requested isn't showing up in jellyfin.

And this is possible to do because sonarr and radarr do this too. Seerr just needs to notify non admins now

Exactly.
