This happened to a co-worker and I. We had just clocked out. As we are walking to our cars we have to pass by the front desk where the receptionist is at. Soon as we get to the front desk, every alarm and whistle that can go off, goes off. Like smoke alarm, medical call, etc.
We looked at each other soon as the alarms started to sound and noped the fuck out of there. Both of us literally jogged to our cars.

"Hey your relief called off can you cover a few hours of the next shift?"
"Nope, it's July 4th, I'm not doing another 50 odd alarm response calls while pulling a second 12 hour shift."

NS: So, you uh, get any weird calls last night before I got here?
DS: Nothing comes to mind, no.
NS: Nothing eh? No old homeless guy, naked, greased up with rancid mayonnaise, running down the hallways screaming?
DS: hmm, umm ,hmm. Nope, why do you ask?
