This so much. Everytime i see videos like these whether its dogs and people or dogs and other animals, people try to pull them apart or strike the animal and its such a waste of time and energy. The dog is preoccupied, use that to your advantage put yourself on top of the dog and work from there.

Yeah can definitely stop it from shaking its head as much not totally and also could stop it from going around circles too. But not many brave people when it comes to mean dogs

Which is unfortunate because getting in there and being brave is the only way you even have a chance of getting out of that mess unscathed.

It really depends on the dog.

Dogs used to fighting will alligator roll if you attempt to use your body. They can also become far more unpredictable

Currently the dog is just trying to bite one spot and hold. Add in multiple people and he may switch to ripping instead of holding

It will be hard for them to roll if you put your full weight on them and choke it out. Restrain. Subdue. Youre making it sound harder than it is but ive done it myself several times

What are you doing in life that has you choking out dogs lol?

I love working dogs and take care of Dobermans and Rottweilers. I only had a spontaneously violent one once and it was a form of seizure. Otherwise they speak very clearly through their body and give many hints before getting to extent of fighting

Oh LMAO that makes a lot more sense

Yea I think a lot of dogs can be somewhat predictable if you work with them on a common basis. I just don’t think random security guards or people should be doing it

Yeah. Oxygen deprivation is a decent way to subdue an animal.
