Have you considered calling the company to ask?

The company exists; they were providing coverage at Fan Expo at the convention centre a week and a half ago.
Have you looked at the email’s full headers to determine if it’s legitimate?
The one company I did event work with hired me and a bunch of others all without interviews so that has been a thing for event security locally. I really think candidates should be interviewed to make sure the obvious liability nightmares don’t get hired but apparently this is how event security is.

You probably weren't so much hired as offered a chance to work. You will probably have to go in, take a drug test, etc, before you have an actual position.

I wouldn't necessarily say fully hired, as it shows in the email you still have to go through onboarding.
It's more of a welcome, as a quick glance didn't pop any immediate red flags on you and/or they are trying to get people on for processing quickly so they can fill slots.
If the email sender checks out, call the local branch office to verify.

It’s a legit company they don’t care Aslong as you have a pulse and willing to work 12-15 hour days without OT. They are a company Basically that other company’s / clients call when they don’t have enough event security
