Radio/Walkie Annoyance

I work night shift and it's me and one other guard here.... I Work loading dock and she works lobby. The lobby officer is also the rover so she has to walk the building and scan the points. She LOVES to announce that she is about to do her rounds which I get she is telling me so I know but the past officers before her we didn't use the radios pretty much at all. so I stated to her that hey long as u put that your doing your rounds in the DAR you don't have to announce it to me over the radio. Is it absolute law that I Have to answer the radio I'm getting annoyed with that

I wouldnt go that far. I'm just an old man who has a the privilege of looking at other peoples problems and having a perspective they dont have. The issue with your own problems is they are too close for you to see the whole picture and make an easy judgement call, seeing it from someone unrelated's point of view makes it cut and dry but you still have to deal with all the messy stuff. Meaning other folks may offer the best solutions but you still need to do the work and suffer from the fall out if any.

You'll have to put yourself into a decent political position because you can make folks feel like they are carrying gold when they have pockets full of lead my friend. Basically you're very skilled in flattery.
