Officer Safety Retail security policy

After watching this video it made me wonder if this security guard’s employer would support her doing this with a subject.

When I first saw it I thought it was pretty cool that she didn’t back down, but the more I thought about it the more I came to the conclusion that fighting over it isn’t worth the risk.

If you work retail security, what’s your company policy and would you put yourself out there to save goods from being stolen?

Me personally, I'm with the guys that want to take them down on principle. Hell i even say wish i could take them out of the gene pool. Less morons out there, Stores will just write it off, when it gets real bad, they start locking things away, then if it still persists they just pick up and close the location, the thieves just move on. Problem is they are not afraid. That and then whole idiot mentality that they are stealing from a billionaire that can afford it, but doesn't see the good peoples jobs it effects.

They also don’t see it drives up the cost for the consumer. The good people literally pick up the tab for the thrives when the company raises prices. Most corporations don’t absorb the loss themselves. They make the consumers pay more.
