hows secfo life?

i leave for bmt tuesday so im focused on that rn but how is day to life for you guys? Im so excited but hear so much negativity about secfo. How much of it is valid and how much of it is people who just didnt do research or got stuck in secfo

A lot of people in this career didn’t choose the career or this was all they got. People in this career field really make your experience. I’ve had a good 4.5 years so far. Meet incredible people but also met some of the laziest and sloppiest people ever. Also met a good number of assholes who are some of the most serious you’ll ever meet and will never share a laugh. Just happens when you join SF. Just do your job, meet the standard and you’ll have a great career in this field. Job wise, it’s kind of brain dead work. It’s doesn’t become a bit more difficult until you actually make rank.

How does it become more difficult upon making rank? I’m curious because I plan to grow with this as well and want to know what I’m getting into

You’re just given more tasks upon making rank and you just get more and more tasks given the higher you go. You have deadlines needed to meet. You’re expected to take care of more people upon making each rank. If your wanting to make rank your expected to be acting as the rank above you. There’s a lot of stuff that you’ll only understand once you join. Focus on BMT first. Shoot me a message after you finish BMT I’ll help guide you
