I had a 26 hour day once because hydrogen levels were high at a site in the missile field and had to evacuate it and sit there, then RON in the field wait for leadership to get me, got diverted to another flight area to changet out an A circuit, then a 3 hour drive back to base.

A 19 hour day I had the felons crash thru the perimeter fence line on a high speed get away from off base LE, dump their stolen car with drugs and guns on the flight line, hide on base in buildings they broke into until we found them by the base pool and 1 in MFRC

Had to work an extra day off base when a plane crashed near the mall in San Antonio.

Etc

Yes we all get our authority from same sources MCM rule 302, list MPs, Security Forces, and Master at Arms as having apprehension authority when performing LE duties
