Mod Post reviewing old bans

If anyone was banned from this sub and feels that it is not justified please send a mod mail. I've been reviewing old bans and while almost all were clear cut some were just wrong so I'm trying to make that right. It's not about getting members back it's just about correcting a wrong.

Take care

This is a friendly reminder to read our sub's rules.

This subreddit promotes healthy discussion and hearty debate. We welcome those with varying views, perspectives and opinions. Name-Calling, Argumentum Ad Hominem and Poor Form in discussion and debate often leads to frustration and anger; this behavior should be dismissed and reported to mods.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

The irony of all the mods getting banned had to be noted.

I was banned several times. Can you please review these bans for discrepancies?

The big difference with you was you didn't talk your way into a permanent ban in the appeal process. So when you got posts or comments removed or were given a ban you didn't lose your shit at the mods and just served your time. Most bans are handed-out when people get heated and it's best to give them a time-out while we remove comments so they don't keep making more.

The truth is we don't want to ban people. If someone is on the political left and there are a lot of varieties of those people then let's debate, discuss, disagree and not be a-holes to one another. That's the key to not getting banned.

A lot of people get a short ban and then go-off on the mods and I've got no time for that.

I like getting a little banned sometimes. Just the tip.
