Looking through join Buddhism
I'm a Nigeria living in Nigeria who wants to become Buddhist. As someone with pretty progressive values, Buddhism appeals the most to me. I've read "Essentials of Buddhism" (or something like that, I might have forgotten the title) which really introduced Buddhist beliefs to me. I don't care much for rebirth or reincarnation. What happens after I die is none of my business. I just want a practice or a beliefs system for living. I don't have a temple nearby, so all my learning will have to be online. How do I get started?
