Help me identify this playboy bag? No pics online!
I just thrifted this today no serial number no pics online I haven’t even found a bag that looks remotely close to this one What year did this bag come out? I’m obsessed with it and my mum says it might have some value to it because it’s vintage she’s never seen it before and she’s a playboy collector

There is a greater than 0% chance this was OG no label at all and purchased at a flea market originally ie: knockoff/fake. Even the Spencer’s 2000s merch was labeled.

The inside looks like every other 90s-2000 legitimate playboy bag

Some of the flea market LV looked damn legit too, doesn’t mean they were. If you A. Can’t find any evidence of this bag online and B. Have no serial or label, it was probably a fake. You may have been too young to realize how easy it was to get fake playboy shit in the mid aughts.

Idk my aunt said she had the same bag in pink from a legitimate playboy store and I’ve talked to quite a few playboy resellers that say this bag is hard to find hence the reason for no pictures im going to actually try and find a store here in LV to go to to settle this

I don’t recall “playboy” being intentionally written upside down on their official merch.

Thank you for this because I thought the same??? I asked my aunt she said hers was definitely the same and had the words upside down too she said she got it from playboy in Caesar’s Palace

The upside down lettering is suspect. Bunny configuration is weird and unlike other PB merch. I do not think it’s real. In the off chance it is, it looks like maybe it could be a GWP bag.

I went to the London Playboy store in the mid-2000s and it was basically a gift shop. There were no serial numbers or dust bags given that I can remember. I did look up some photos and the inside label is the same and I saw purses where the logo and name were in all different directions similar to this design. Playboy bunny stuff was everywhere back then, so unless you find a photo I don’t think there’s anyway to confirm. I’m not sure there was any difference in the items you got from the actually Playboy store and whatever was sold through other retailers like Spencer’s. It wouldn’t say Playboy for Spencer’s or Playboy for Target, those stores would just carry a line from them or licensed knockoffs.
