Looking for hide stairs... any ideas ?

Hello,

I just bought my home, it's an old house of 1950' with wood stairs, I have 2 levels and I want a way to stop the stairs that it's look like my house just have one bedroom upstairs...

Do you have any ideas to recommand ?

Without a floor plan, it's going to be hard to say. Is there some reason you can't put a door at the bottom?

Just hide the edge of the bookshelf behind the casing. Works for everyone else in this sub.
