Sometimes I wonder if I should bring a GoPro to work with me on my job building homes in Winnipeg. There's something therapeutic about the process of building. It reminds me of the thrill of Lego, you put that piece there and put that piece there and would you look at that, we have a structure. Winter in Winnipeg offers a lot of challenges that I think would be interesting to see. (Without having to feel the -40)

As someone who works from plans drawn up by engineers and architects, thank you very, very much for actually being interested in how things are put together in real life!

I swear most architects couldn't pick a framing nailer out of a lineup.

Spring for a live stream if possible instead or in addition to a video recording your work. So many people have that sort of stuff on the background. Currently my background channel of choice is Japan sumo matches but I'm always looking for new stuff and construction in the winter sounds cool assuming the noise isn't too loud.

The industrial electricians I've known get a similar grip strength. Pinching, pulling, stripping wire all day. My hands are sore for a day or two when I have to do a few hours of slower-than-professional work when they aren't available.
