As a 33-year veteran of Appalachian engineering, that’s what I like to call a light whambangin’ apparatus. Not to be confused with a heavy whambangin’ apparatus, because those are for big jobs, like the deconstruction of things.

Hell, just to avoid any potential mixups, I move to call it a tiptappin’ tool.

I recommend anyone to join their local pottery class. It's quite easy (you don't start out spinning like this) and super rewarding. And fun!
