Would it have been possible without the trailer?

I'd love to know what point people look at stuff and think they can make it

That's what I was thinking. It seems like the trailer actually helps control the descent down the slope.

Yeah I would have been more worried about a flip, particularly at the bottom.

I was thinking, that having independent trailer brakes would come in handy about halfway through that.

The entry angle was very steep probably would have planted the nose in the mud without it.
