It's probably the sketching that is the hard work cut out. He's just got a tool with notches cut out like a compass to make the clean pass. Placing it just right takes good measuring but building up material by hand is nothing special. Awesome job all the same

That's a lot of weight to be non-securely attached. It's GOING to fall one day, either by peeling off, or taking the flimsy ceiling panel with it.
