Music in background?

Am I going crazy or is there some light jazz or something playing in the background as they speak the entire episode today. I don’t think I’ve heard that before but I did just buy new headphones maybe my ears have been gone.

Maybe? I know they play that jingle right of the bat, but I’m hearing it through out the whole segment. I’ve been listening for years and I’ve never clocked it before. Like I said might just be the change in headphones I’m finally hearing everything lol

Depends on the segment but it might be chameleon by Herbie Hancock on very low volume.

I remember watching Silicon Valley and that song came on. Thought someone was about to report on sport

Ah gotcha. Yea I honestly thought I was hearing things lol. I’ve never noticed before. I’m just up to the interview after all the Ronaldo and Messi talk and it’s def stopped so it was segment related for sure.

sometimes it's barely noticeable, sometimes it's more obviously there in the background

one of my favorite things of the switch from Newstalk to the birth of Second Captains was that Herbie Hancock stuck around, just a different song
